We are a grassroots network of mothers and carers from across Australia committed to changing the conversation about people seeking asylum and from refugee backgrounds
We raise awareness about the causes of poverty and injustice in the asylum seeker community, and the need for human rights to be respected and advanced. Established in 2015, Mums 4 Refugees provides social, material and medical aid to people seeking asylum and people from a refugee background.
Our vision is of a just Australia where there are laws giving rights that ensure that the needs and rights of people seeking asylum and from refugee backgrounds take priority over political gain.
